Born at home Cascinazza, it is the second Italian monastic beer. The sheet reads as follows:
COLOR: dark brown
FERMENTATION: high
Alcohol: 8%.
The beer is characterized by its great balance, very dense but easy drinkability, it has an alcohol content of medium-high (8%) but the strength of alcohol is of secondary importance compared to the wealth of aromas and flavors. The nose toasty malt and caramel combine with fruity aromas of raisin, plum california, rum and raisin wine. A light hopping makes the sweet notes of malt they approach harmoniously in bitter hops.
Our tasting reveals strong malty notes and a considerable complexity of aromas, which adds a long finish of cocoa.
We recommend to drink it several times to appreciate the evolution over time.
