The second born at home Cascinazza, is the second Italian monastic beer, the sheet reads as follows:
COLOR: dark brown
FERMENTATION: high
ALCOHOL: 8% vol.
And 'a beer that is characterized by very balanced, very dense but easy drinkability, has an alcohol content of middle-high (8%) but the strength of the alcohol takes second fiddle to the wealth of aromas and flavors. Nose toasty malt and caramel combine with fruity aromas of raisin, plum California, rum and raisin wine. A slight hopping makes the sweet notes of malt they approach harmoniously in bitter hops.
Our tasting made shortly after production, reveals strong hints malt is a considerable complexity of aromas well described in the schedule which would add a long finish of cocoa.
Recommend to drink it several times in the time to appreciate its evolution.
